Toyota Gives Back this Holiday Season

The Boys & Girls Club of America is an important aspect of our society. The non-profit group has many branches spread across the United States, and their goal is to better the lives of young people everywhere thorugh academic support, career enrichment, character and leadership development, health and life skills, the arts, sports and fitness and family support resources.

Why the long spiel about this amazing cause? Toyota recently teamed with ADESA and Norwalk Auto Auctions to raise some money for local branches where the two automotive remarketing firms hold events. For every Toyota model that sold at an ADESA and Norwalk Auto Auctions even, Toyota would make a $50 donation to that city's Boys & Girls Club branch. Meanwhile, the two auction companies opted to generously donate $15-$25 for each Toyota sold as well.

"I'm incredibly proud to work for an organization that recognizes the need to assist youth, especially those in under-served communities. At Toyota Financial Services, we've partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs on a local and national level for many years and we've seen the great impact they have in their communities," says Mike Reid, national remarketing manager at TFS. "We know the money raised through this promotion with our auction partners, ADESA and Norwalk Auto Auctions, will absolutely help make a significant and positive difference for thousands of kids."1
